Online Video Swing Analysis

First you would need to set up a Gmail account. Which is free.
If you already have a Gmail account just go to item 7 below to set up Google Drive.
This is the best way for both the instructor and client to view the video.

To create an account:

  1. Go to www.gmail.com.
  2. Click Create account.
  3. The sign-upform will appear. …
  4. Next, enter your phone number to verify your account. …
  5. You will receive a text message from Google with a verification code. …
  6. Next, you will see a form to enter some of your personal information, like your name and birthday.
  7. From there when you log in you get a little 9 square gridded box in the upper right corner.  Its mail, calendar etc.  one of them is Google Drive
  8. From there you create folders and you give people access rights.
  9. Post your videos there.
  10. Send me the access to the Google Drive folder to bill_westerlund@hotmail.com

What The Student Gets

  • You will video your swing from face-on view and target line view.  Only ONE clip of each view please
  • I first analyze posture, then grip, stance, alignment and lastly ball position.
  • Analysis are you bending from waist or tilting forward from your hip flexors.
  • Is your spine from tailbone through your skull flat straight or angled and how much angle.
  • I will do a close up of your grip to see if it is positioned effectively.
  • I will look at your backswing, downswing and through swing to see if club is swinging on a more correct path-plane.
  • I will observe your foot work, your knees connection at finish.
  • How is your balance and form as it relates to your power?
  • Does your lower body lead your upper body and do your hands release and crossover. This is your SWING MECHANICS.

I will return your swing analysis within a few days. I will charge you $100 and you can call me with your credit-debit card info.
